Choose your treatment below. Had a combination? Read each relevant guide. Sues personal aftercare instructions take priority: products, techniques and skin needs can change the advice and timing.
For advanced skin treatments, make sure you have your individual written aftercare plan. Unsure when to cleanse, apply make-up, use SPF or restart active skincare? Check with Sue first.
01 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Nails & hand care
Gel manicures, nail art, prescriptive overlays, full-cover gel, Boost & Build Nail Rehab and luxury hand treatments.
How to care for your results
- Use cuticle oil daily and moisturise your hands regularly.
- Wear gloves for cleaning, washing up and gardening. Avoid prolonged soaking and harsh cleaning products.
- Use your fingertips rather than your nails to open things. Never pick, peel or pull off gel or extensions.
- Book a professional repair if a coating lifts or a nail breaks, and keep your maintenance appointments. Boost & Build includes two appointments three weeks apart.
- Tell Sue about pain, redness or irritation. Avoid applying more product over a sore or damaged nail.
02 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Pedicures & callus care
Express Etool, Luxury, Elim Medi Pedi, Hot Stone, Just Toes, gel toes and callus peel add-ons.
How to care for your results
- Allow regular polish to dry fully before wearing socks or closed shoes. Ask Sue about the polish used.
- Moisturise your feet regularly, avoiding cream between the toes. Dry carefully after washing.
- Choose comfortable footwear that does not rub freshly treated skin.
- Follow the product-specific homecare for callus treatments. Do not cut, pick or aggressively file the treated area.
- Never peel off gel polish. Arrange professional removal. Contact Sue about soreness; seek medical advice for broken skin that is not healing.
03 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Brows & lamination
Tint, hybrid stain and colour boosts, Definition Brows, Baby Brow, Rehab Lamination and maintenance.
How to care for your results
- Follow Sues timings for water, steam, make-up and cleansing. These depend on the tint or lamination system used.
- Avoid rubbing, scrubbing or exfoliating freshly treated brows. This can irritate skin and fade a hybrid skin stain.
- Avoid pressing or sleeping directly on laminated brows during the settling period Sue recommends.
- Once advised, gently brush brows into shape with a clean spoolie and use the recommended conditioning product.
- Ask Sue when to book maintenance or repeat lamination. If your treatment included waxing, read the waxing guide too.
04 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Lash lifts, tints & clusters
Lash Lift with Tint, Korean Lash Lift, hybrid colour boosts, lash tint and Party Cluster Lashes.
How to care for your results
- Follow the water, steam, swimming and make-up timings for the specific lifting or tinting system Sue used. Korean lift aftercare may differ.
- Avoid rubbing or pulling lashes. Do not use mechanical lash curlers on lifted lashes.
- Once cleansing is allowed, clean gently and brush with a clean spoolie. Use only a recommended conditioner.
- For party clusters, follow the adhesive-specific cleansing and removal instructions. Do not tug, pick or pull them off.
- Keep the lash line clean using Sues recommended method. Arrange removal if clusters cause discomfort. Eye pain, marked swelling or vision changes need prompt medical attention.
05 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Facial waxing
Brow wax and shape, lip and chin, neck and full-face waxing.
How to care for your results
- Avoid touching, rubbing or scratching the area. Keep hands clean.
- While skin is sensitive, avoid heat, steam rooms, saunas, swimming and sweaty exercise.
- Avoid make-up, perfume, exfoliants and active skincare on the area until Sue advises they are suitable.
- Protect skin from direct sun. Apply a gentle broad-spectrum sunscreen when suitable for your skin.
- Ask Sue before exfoliating or booking another wax if you use retinoids or medicines that affect skin sensitivity. Persistent irritation, blistering or worsening pain needs advice.
06 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Facials & LED
Teen, Jelly and Sheet Mask facials, LED, CO₂ Bubble, Cliniccare Carboxytherapy, Hydrafacial, Awakening, anti-ageing and menopausal treatments, and topical dissolvable silk protein threads.
How to care for your results
- Keep your routine gentle with the cleanser and moisturiser recommended for your skin. Avoid introducing several new products at once.
- Do not pick blemishes or scrub your skin. Ask Sue when to restart exfoliants, retinoids and other active ingredients.
- Use shade and broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher once suitable after your treatment.
- Follow your treatment-specific advice for make-up, heat and exercise, particularly if exfoliation was included.
- For the SKNN Face Plan, follow the guide for the treatment performed at each visit.
07 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Dermaplaning & exfoliation
Luxury, Lift & Reveal and Peel & Reveal Dermaplane, microdermabrasion and exfoliating facials.
How to care for your results
- Cleanse gently and use the recommended moisturiser. Avoid scrubs, cleansing brushes and picking flaking skin.
- Pause acids, retinoids and irritating skincare until the restart date in your aftercare plan.
- Avoid direct sun and sunbeds. Use shade and the recommended broad-spectrum SPF when suitable.
- Follow Sues timings for make-up, heat, exercise and swimming. A peel combination can require different care from dermaplaning alone.
- Check before waxing or having another exfoliating treatment.
08 / YOUR AFTERCARE
Needling & mesotherapy
Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling with hyaluronic acid or mesotherapy, Nano Needling and Fusion Argon Microneedling.
How to care for your results
- Follow your written timings for cleansing, make-up, SPF and skincare. Nano needling and deeper microneedling can have different recovery needs.
- Use only products approved for your treatment. Avoid rubbing, picking or applying ordinary active serums to freshly treated skin.
- Follow your plan for avoiding heat, strenuous exercise, swimming and direct sun while skin recovers.
- Ask Sue before restarting acids or retinoids, or booking other skin treatments.
- Some redness or sensitivity can occur after microneedling. Worsening pain, spreading redness, discharge or fever needs medical advice.
09 / YOUR AFTERCARE
